Lucid Latticepoint Academy runs technical analysis training as chart pattern recognition: printed histories, a copper pencil, and a room that holds twelve. The work is drawing the line and saying what would cancel it.

What the pencil is for
A pattern on a chart is a claim about swings you can point at. In this room the claim is written on the sheet before anyone talks about what they hope price will do next. Homework comes back on the same paper, with the neckline or the pole corrected in the margin.
Students work from a printed pack of old weekly and daily charts. The names in the pack are there so the candles are real; the lesson is the drawing. Head and shoulders, flags, triangles, double tops and double bottoms are taught as shapes with rules for confirmation and for failure.
If you want the long version, the studio runs across six evenings. If you want one sitting with your own paper, the clinic is the smaller desk. Saturday is the day for people who still need candlesticks and trendlines under their hand.

I stopped circling every pause after the second evening. The pole had to exist before the flag was allowed a name.

The double bottom that never confirmed
Two similar lows are not a completed double bottom until price closes through the peak that sits between them.
Where to put the neckline
The two troughs under a head and shoulders rarely sit at the same price. The neckline is allowed to slope.
Volume beside the triangle
A triangle is drawn from its boundaries first. Volume is uncovered afterwards, not used as a shortcut.
